The name of the building development will be "hybrid". It relates to the new south african culture (combination of many) I was to introduce into the design. Hybrid speaks of a contrast that works together to create something new and productive.
The retail environment will have its own identity and the name is "hi-bru" playing on our south african slang. Also a play on words to use "bru" instead of "brew" for the coffee culture experience cafe.
The commercial office space will have a separate identity (+ism) coming form the word hybridism. Then the word prism springs to mind.
The concept of prism physics is perfect for a space where people meet with a goal in mind (light source entering prism) and then come together to create many solutions (spectrum of colour exiting prism) and hence the geometric nature of the +ism logo.
seeing you mentioned the South African culture above.Why not try and merge the SA flag into the logo design?because i believe South Africa has got so many different cultures and the one thing they have in common is our flag
