The aim of the B.Tech year is to consider the broader context of design
in the city of Port Elizabeth, thinking how design can change the lives of
people instead of design being something that only a fraction of the population
can benefit from. With that being said my proposal will have a focus on the
impact on the living conditions and well-being of the immediate community surrounding the location.
The idea is to improve the city dynamics and the relationship with the user and the city and by so doing, move toward a global
way of living where convenience will be nothing less than expected.
